Anaesthesiologists
Our anaesthesiologists are highly qualified medical professionals with extensive training in the science and practice of anaesthesia. Each member of our team is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and holds postgraduate qualifications in anaesthesiology. Many have also completed additional training or developed focused expertise in anaesthetic sub-specialities.
At ICAN, we believe anaesthesia is both a science and a clinical art — demanding technical precision, real-time decision-making, and clear communication with patients, surgical teams, and hospital staff. Our anaesthesiologists are selected not only for their clinical acumen, but also for their ability to collaborate seamlessly and uphold the highest standards of care in every environment.
We are proud to work across a wide range of surgical settings. Our team regularly participates in multidisciplinary surgical lists, intensive care rounds, academic teaching, and ongoing professional development — staying at the forefront of evolving clinical practice.
Every patient benefits from the expertise of a dedicated anaesthesiologist, supported by a cohesive team culture that prioritises safety, vigilance, and professionalism.
